We’re thrilled to welcome Dr. Charis Chambers—also known as The Period Doctor—as Clue’s new Chief Medical Officer. She will be supporting Clue’s mission of helping people with cycles live better lives.

Known for her evidence-based and approachable voice on social media, Dr. Chambers combines deep clinical expertise with a genuine passion for educating women and people with cycles, and we couldn’t be more excited to join forces.

This partnership is a significant step for us at Clue towards our goal of making reliable, science-based reproductive health information accessible to everyone with a cycle. In a world where medical misinformation can spread fast, having Dr. Chambers as part of the team means we can continue to provide our community with information they can trust.

Who is Dr. Charis Chambers?

Dr. Charis Chambers is a board-certified OB-GYN and specialty-certified Pediatric & Adolescent Gynecologist—but you might know her better as The Period Doctor on social media. She frequently tackles topics such as periods, puberty, motherhood, vaginal health, and more on Instagram and TikTok, using her medical credentials to provide educational and trustworthy content. Her social media impact has already been recognized with multiple awards, celebrating her as a health educator.

So, why is this partnership such a great fit?

One of the reasons this partnership works so well is that Dr. Chambers shares our commitment to credible, science-based guidance:

“I have long admired Clue for its science-based, data-driven approach, and I am honoured to be a part of this mission to provide the credible and medically sound guidance we know women both need and deserve.”

Working closely with Clue’s in-house science team, Dr. Chambers will help set the record straight on reproductive health—expanding our current educational content, offering expert commentary, and busting myths with no-nonsense clarity.

As Louise Troen, Clue’s Chief Marketing Officer, says:

“Dr. Charis’ personal values, rooted in kindness and medical integrity, couldn’t be more aligned with us as a brand.”

The importance of tackling misinformation

Recent consumer research carried out by Clue shows that medical misinformation remains rife. 82% of US women say medical misinformation is a concern, and 55% of US women have encountered medical information online that they don’t trust.

Misinformation about periods and reproductive health isn’t harmless—it can leave people confused, anxious, or cause delay in getting the care they need. Partnering with trusted experts such as Dr. Chambers is just one of the ways Clue is committed to helping women and people with cycles understand their bodies through science-based, medically credible information and education.

What’s next?

Together with Dr. Chambers, we’re excited to bring you more medically accurate, approachable, and empowering content. Whether it’s busting myths, answering common questions, or helping you make sense of your own cycle, we’re here to make your health journey easier to navigate.
