Maia Meier is a Canadian Clinical Exercise Physiologist, endurance mountaineer, and founder of Project Elevate Her, a global initiative using the challenge of climbing the Seven Summits and skiing to the South Pole to raise awareness of inherited bleeding disorders in women and girls. Living with Type 2A von Willebrand disease herself, Maia combines lived experience, healthcare expertise, and adventure to advocate for earlier diagnosis, equitable care, and improved quality of life for women worldwide.
